Traveling to Egypt is like traveling through time. The land of the Pharaohs is a destination you must visit at least once in your life to discover its fascinating history. Every site, temple, or valley is a journey into the past where the ancient Egyptian civilization comes to life.

Considered the cradle of civilization, Egypt is a unique country that never ceases to amaze, and as the Greek historian Herodotus said more than two thousand years ago, “He who has not seen Egypt has not seen the world.”

Travelling offers you the chance to see for yourself why you should visit this country with countless attractions. You will have the opportunity to cruise the Nile, visit its temples, marvel at the Pyramids, savor its cuisine, or dive into the depths of the Red Sea to witness the vastness of its waters.

From north to south, we will explore the country like a true adventurer and treasure hunter. Don’t miss it!!!

Day 1: El Cairo - Luxor
Day 1: El Cairo - Luxor

Arrival at Cairo International Airport. Upon arrival, an English-speaking representative will assist you with immigration and visa formalities and will direct you to the departure gate for your domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, our staff will assist you with customs formalities and transfer you to the hotel. Overnight accommodation in Luxor.

Day 2: Luxor

Breakfast at the hotel and departure by coach to Dendera to explore the Greco-Roman temple dedicated to the goddess Hathor, famous for the Egyptian zodiac signs discovered on its walls. Return to Luxor to board the motor ship, cabin assignment and lunch on board. In the afternoon, visit the impressive temples of Luxor and Karnak, renowned for their grandeur and architectural precision. At the end of the day, return to the motor ship to enjoy dinner on board and relax in your cabin.

Day 3: Luxor - Esna - Edfur

Full board on board. After breakfast, you will cross to the other side of the Nile to visit the iconic Necropolis of Thebes, one of Egypt's most important archaeological treasures. You will explore the Valley of the Kings, home to 62 pharaonic tombs, including those of Tutankhamun and Ramses IV (you will be able to access a maximum of 3 tombs). The visit continues with a stunning panoramic view of the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, known as Deir el-Bahari, and the funerary temple of Ramses III, also called Medinat Habu. Later, you will admire the remains of the temple of Amenophis III, which welcomes visitors with the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous stone statues that have withstood the passage of time. Return to the motor ship to set sail for Esna. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon cruising along the Nile. During the night, you will cross the Esna lock and continue sailing to Edfu.

Full board on board. In the morning, you will enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride to the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus. This sanctuary is one of the best-preserved Egyptian temples, which remained hidden under the sand for centuries until its discovery by French archaeologist Auguste Mariette in the 19th century. After the visit, you will return to the motor ship to set sail for Kom Ombo. In Kom Ombo, you will explore on foot the double temple dedicated to Haroeris, the falcon god, and Sobek, the crocodile god. You will also visit an exhibition of mummified crocodiles, providing a fascinating insight into Ancient Egyptian culture. Return to the motor ship to continue sailing to Aswan while enjoying dinner on board. Overnight in Aswan.

Full board on board. We recommend taking advantage of the morning to take the optional excursion to the legendary temples of Abu Simbel, one of the most impressive archaeological landmarks in Egypt. These majestic temples, almost lost due to the construction of the Aswan Dam, were saved thanks to a global effort led by UNESCO. They were meticulously moved to their current location, 200 meters further back and 60 meters higher than their original site, ensuring their preservation. The Temple of Ramses II, with its impressive façade adorned with four colossal 20-meter-high statues, is the main attraction. Inside, you will discover an extensive gallery and several rooms dedicated to the gods of Ancient Egypt. In addition, you can admire the Temple of Nefertari, Ramses II's favorite wife, whose façade features six statues of equal size, four of Ramses and two of Nefertari, each with distinctive attributes. On the way back to Aswan, you will enjoy lunch on board. In the afternoon, a relaxing ride on a felucca, the traditional sailing boats of the Nile, will take you to explore the waters of the river while taking in the views of Elephantine Island, a former ivory trading centre, and Kitchener's Island, famous for its botanical gardens. You will also have a magnificent view of the Mausoleum of Agha Khan, a resting place chosen by the Ismaili leader for its stunning beauty. Overnight on board in Aswan.

Day 6: Aswan - El Cairo

Breakfast on board the motorboat and disembarkation. You will then depart by coach to the pier on Philae Island, where you will take a motorboat to this small but fascinating island. Here, you will admire the temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, built by Ptolemy II, which stands majestically in the middle of the waters. Then, you will experience a unique contrast between antiquity and modernity with a visit to the famous Aswan Dam, a masterpiece of hydraulic engineering that Egypt undertook with the help of the USSR in the late 1950s, and was completed in the 1960s. This colossal structure transformed the region and is a testament to the country's technical progress. Finally, you will be transferred to Aswan airport for your flight to Cairo, where you will be met by a representative who will accompany you to your hotel for a rest.

After breakfast, you will begin your visit to the iconic Giza plateau, home to the imposing Pyramids, the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that still stands. You will admire the majestic Great Pyramid of Cheops, with its impressive height of 230 meters, and explore the funerary temple of King Khafre, next to the enigmatic Sphinx with the body of a lion, symbol of pharaonic greatness. From the nearby esplanade, you will enjoy a panoramic view of the three Pyramids, a scene that will remain etched in your memory.

Optionally, you can enjoy lunch before continuing the adventure to the Saqqara necropolis, a complex declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here, you will explore the funerary complex of King Zoser and his iconic step pyramid, the oldest in Egypt, which marks the beginning of monumental architecture in ancient Egypt.

At the end of the day, you will return to the hotel for rest and overnight in Cairo.

Tras el desayuno, día dedicado a realizar la excursión, opcional, de la ciudad, los principales puntos de interés de la más grande de toda África. La visita comienza en el Museo de Antigüedades Egipcias, donde destaca el tesoro de Tutankamón entre numerosas colecciones de objetos de las diferentes épocas de la era faraónica con un valor cultural incalculable. Una oportunidad única para conocer, con gran lujo de detalles, el funcionamiento de esta civilización. Almuerzo y a continuación, tendrá la oportunidad de conocer el Barrio Copto, una zona de la ciudad caracterizada por ser un crisol de religiones en el transcurso de la historia donde han convivido cristianos, judíos y musulmanes. Entre sus monumentos destacan la Iglesia Colgante, construida sobre la Fortaleza de Babilonia; la Iglesia de San Sergio, donde se cree que la Sagrada Familia se exilió en ella cuando huyó de Herodes; y la Sinagoga de Ben Ezra, una de las más antiguas del país que data del siglo VII. Más adelante, se dirigirá a la zona de la Ciudadela de Saladino, una fortaleza donde sobresale la imponente mezquita de Mohamed Ali, además de varios museos y jardines que se esconden entre sus muros. Y, por último, nos dirigiremos a El Cairo fatimita, que la UNESCO declaró Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Esta zona se fundó en el siglo X como recinto real para los califas Fatimitas, por tanto, está llena de mezquitas y de otras construcciones islámicas de gran importancia histórica. Y podrán pasear por el pintoresco bazar de Khan el-Khalili, una antigua zona de comercio del siglo XIV en la que hoy en día podrá adquirir todo tipo de recuerdos, sin olvidarse del tradicional regateo. Posteriormente regreso al hotel.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for Cairo International Airport in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. During the journey, you will enjoy a last view of this fascinating city, full of history in every corner. To ensure that your experience is as smooth and comfortable as possible, a English-speaking representative will accompany you at all times, assisting with any situation that may arise.
